Welcome to Serengeti National Park, Tanzania.
We’re tracking the Great Wildebeest Migration in Serengeti, getting to know where is the Wildebeest Migration at this time you’re reading this Migration tracking update.
Today on 08 July 2022 at 0730 in the morning, we witnessed the first Mara River Crossing in the northern Serengeti. It’s wonderful to see the crossing happening this early in July. We’re expecting more crossing in the next week as some herds from west and central are in the Nyamalumbwa area heading the north, but still, you can see migration in central and western corridors.
You need at least 2 nights in northern Serengeti to guarantee the crossing at this time. Explore our migration safari packages to book your trip or contact our experts to help you with the perfect plan to witness the Wildebeest Crossing in Serengeti.
